The mailing to members of the Campaign Against Investment in South Africa (CAISA) includes a cover letter, memorandum, and newspaper article. The letter says Dumisani Kumalo is travelling until mid-December to meet with support groups and legislators in Connecticut, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, California, Oregon, Washington and Maine. The letter also discusses the Connecticut Anti-Apartheid Committee. The memo to members of CAISA outlines ACOA's planned activities, including traveling; developing specific resources for campaign use – Question and Answer on Divestment, Connecticut Case Study etc.; developing a regular newsletter and clipping service to keep CAISA groups in touch with one another, to keep the local campaign in touch with national and other local groups etc.; and monitoring, recording, and publicizing divestment achievements. A newspaper article, "South African Visitors Avoid Investments Issue," reports on a group of South African religious leaders' visit to Hartford, Connecticut.
