Among the speakers are Goler Butcher; SWAPO representative Theo-Ben Gurirab; Elizabeth Landis, attorney and consultant to the Commissioner of the UN Commission on Namibia; William Johnston from Episcopal Churchmen for Southern Africa; Edward May from the Lutheran Council in the USA; Abisai Shejavali, a Lutheran pastor in Namibia; and Eloise Chevrier, United Church of Christ. Several churches cosponsored the event and hosted speakers at their churches following the conference.
