This letter argues against the Carter Administration's request for new arms aid (anti-guerrilla helicopters, etc.) for Morocco for use inside Western Sahara and urges people to call, send telegrams or write to the President. The letter also urges people write Senator George McGovern, Chairman of the Senate Subcommittee on Africa; and Representative Stephen Solarz, Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Africa, applauding their efforts to stop this new action that is contrary both to U.S. principles and national self-interest.
