The mailing consists of a letter from Archbishop Desmond Tutu to Harvard University graduates asking them to vote for him and other Harvard and Radcliffe Alumni/ae Against Apartheid (HRAAA) candidates for the Harvard Board of Overseers, part of campaign to get Harvard to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. The HRAAA candidates were Archbishop Tutu, Linda Davidoff, Ephraim Isaac, Clara Lopez Obregon, and Robert Zevin. A brochure about Harvard and Radcliffe Alumni/ae Against Apartheid is also included.
