Copy of a letter to the editor of The Seattle Times urging Congress to keep sanctions on South Africa until the purpose of the 1986 Anti-Apartheid Act has been achieved. The letter points out that Nelson Mandela and 30 million other black South Africans still cannot vote and that the promises of reform made by President F: W. de Klerk do not provide sufficient grounds for the U.S. to lift sanctions yet.
