This leaflet is part of a campaign to support divestment by Harvard University, and it invites people to an organizing meeting on this campaign. The leaflet discusses the increasing repression in South Africa that has heightened international attention to the injustice of apartheid. South African President Botha's August 15 speech laid to rest the argument that constructive engagement is effective in fighting apartheid. The leaflet argues that Harvard can play a part in the effort to pressure the South African government by selling its stock in companies that do business in South Africa and that there is strong support for divestiture among Harvard students, faculty, and employees.
