This document describes research questions to pursue regarding a country's or community's involvement with South African nuclear development. It also proposes elements to include in Congressional legislation to end nuclear collaboration with South Africa. The enclosed "Collaboration with South Africa's Nuclear Program Fact Sheet" describes how the U.S. government, corporations, banks, and research institutes are assisting South Africa's nuclear development and names companies and banks that are involved. Also briefly mentions involvement by Canada, France, Britain, Germany and Japan.
