Description

The open letter reports to member Student Christian Movements that the World Student Christian Federation decided to withdraw its accounts at the First National City Bank of New York. In 1966 the University Christian Movement of the USA asked WSCF to consider withdrawing its accounts from those U.S. banks most directly involved in South Africa. Since 1964, the WSCF has been on record as opposing apartheid, and the UCM has participated in the founding of the Committee of Conscience against Apartheid.
