This mailing reports on recruitment of mercenaries to fight with UNITA and FNLA in Angola, some apparently financed by the CIA. Reports include recruitment by the Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) in Black communities. This recruitment comes right after the Congress voted to cut off funding for covert CIA activities in Angola. A Christian Science Monitor article, "U.S. role in Angola grows despite denial," is enclosed.
