This letter explains the purpose of ACCESS, which is to isolate South African in sport through coordinated activities in many countries. ACCESS is reaching out to community groups to build a regional network, beyond its national organizational supporters. Statements supporting ACCESS by the American Committee on Africa and American Friends Service Committee are enclosed, along with a New York Times article about protests to South African participation in tennis events at Wimbledon.
