A statement by the American Friends Service Committee, The Catholic Worker, The Episcopal Peace Fellowship, The Fellowship of Reconciliation, and The War Resisters League used at the United Nations missions of the United States and the Soviet Union. It asks both countries to reconsider their polices toward Angola. Angolan should be allowed to determine its own future, without intervention. The groups call for withdrawal of foreign troops, material, and advisors and an end to arms shipments.
