Boston, Massachusetts, United States
Undate, about June 1977
8 pages
This brochure points out that South Africa is the largest competitor for the two largest products of the New England fisheries: lobster and sardine (herring). Namibian fish is found throughout New England and the U.S., despite the United Nations having declared that the exploitation of fish resources off the Namibian coast is illegal. The brochure includes a copy of United Nations Decree No. 1 For the Protection of the Natural Resources of Namibia and of An Act Relating to the Sale of Native Lobster and Sardine, and their Representation for Purpose of Sale by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
