The report says Ian Gilchrist, the 29-year-old Canadian doctor serving among Angolan refugees in the Congo, is making a short tour of the U.S. and Canada to speak about the war in Angola and the plight of more than 300,000 refugees. His work is sponsored by ERA (Emergency Relief to Angola), a division of the American Committee on Africa. The report says Gilchrist is the son of a medical missionary still in Angola.
