This memorandum to members of the Consultative Council on South Africa lists some projects on South Africa that the American Committee on Africa will be emphasizing. The memorandum also suggests that the Consultative Council rethink its role and purpose to be primarily a clearing house for information and action proposals, as was envisioned when the Council was organized. The Council has not been a separate organization and does not attempt to take action in its own name.
