Richard Knight, a consultant on Africa, human rights, economic justice and corporate responsibility, is Project Director of the African Activist Archive Project of the African Studies Center at Michigan State University. His more than 30 years of experience in the U.S. movement in solidarity with African struggles began in the early 1970s when he was a student at Ithaca College.
