Round, yellow metal button has a red image in the center of an arm holding a rifle with a five-pointed star at the end. The arm is extending out of a map of the Katanga Province (renamed Shaba). “FNLC” appears across the image – the acronym in French of the Congolese National Liberation Front. Dark blue text also appears around the top and bottom of the button. The edge of the button indicates it was produced by NC Slater Corp. in New York City. Size: 1-1/2 inches across.
