The Black Student Coalition for a Free Southern Africa included students on multiple campuses in the Washington, D.C. area. The group held a series of solidarity events during the ”Two Weeks of National Action in Support of Southern African Liberation Movements" coordinated by the American Committee on Africa in March – April, 1982. The Black Student Coalition for a Free Southern Africa also prepared articles on southern Africa for D.C.-area college newspapers and organized a radio show with each coalition-member campus.
