Baltimore Revolutionary Workers' Organization was formed in about 1971. It organized radical caucuses in a dozen unions in Baltimore. In 1973, the organization became involved in a campaign against the importation of minerals, including chrome and nickel, from Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). (Source:
