Corporate Data Exchange

The Corporate Data Exchange, Inc. (CDE) was a tax-exempt research organization formed in 1975 to investigate economic concentration and corporate control. The CDC maintained a database on industries and companies to answer specific questions from labor unions, journalists, public interest groups, churches, government agencies, and activists. CDC did research into U.S. bank loans to South Africa. In 1978 CDC published U.S. Bank Loans to South Africa, a comprehensive listing of U.S. bank loans to South Africa.
