The Illinois Labor Network Against Apartheid (ILNAA) was a network of unions in Illinois. The co-coordinators were Kathy Devine and Harold Rogers. Devine was also a member of the Coalition of Labor Union Women (CLUW); Rogers was also a member of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU). The ILNAA supported the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) and its member unions. The ILNAA supported comprehensive sanctions against South Africa. ILNAA was involved in campaigns in support of Moses Mayekiso and the boycott of Shell Oil. The ILNAA hosted an event featuring Nelson Mandela during his visit to Chicago in July 1993. ILNAA worked closely with the New York Labor Committee Against Apartheid. The ILNAA went out of existence in May 1994 after the South African election that ended apartheid. In 1995, Kathy Devine and Cole Wright visited South Africa. (Source: ILNAA documents on this website; Deseree Zimmerman, "
