The New York Material Aid Campaign for ZANU was an anti-imperialist organization building solidarity with the liberation struggles in Africa and a project of the May 19th Communist Organization raising material aid and building political support. The New York Material Aid Campaign for ZANU worked in support of the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) before and after the independence of Zimbabwe in 1980. In the 1980s the organization support the Pan Africanist Congress (PAC) in South Africa, FLNC (Congolese National Liberation Front) in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (then called Zaire), and struggles in other countries.
