The objectives of the organization was to pressure the Canadian government to ban all South African goods from Canada; to raise money for the defense and aid of South African political prisoners and their families; and to inform the public of Canadian investments in South Africa which bolster the South African economy, and thus aiding the perpetuation of apartheid.
