It is responsible for Student Organizations and Activities, Foreign Student Affairs, and Student Financial Aid. These records were created or kept by Michael Ginsburg, who served as Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs at the University of Illinois at Chicago. The vast majority of the collection documents the activities of the UIC anti-apartheid student organization Divest Now Coalition and the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs' attention to issues affecting UIC's Chinese student population.
