The Seattle Shell Boycott Campaign was a project of the American Friends Service Committee, Cascadia Green Alliance, the Church Council of Greater Seattle Task Force on Southern Africa, the Seattle Labor Committee Against Apartheid, Seattle I.W.W., the Seattle Nonviolent Action Group, Students Against Apartheid, and the Coalition Against South African Trade. The Seattle Shell Boycott Campaign promoted a boycott of Shell because of its involvement in apartheid South Africa.
