The South African Political Prisoners' Support Network was the product of discussions with anti-apartheid activists in the Cape Town area, former South African political prisoners, their families, and the friends and loved ones of people currently imprisoned in apartheid's jails. People involved in the South African Political Prisoners' Support Network sent letters to the South African government (including State President F.W. de Klerk and Minister of Law and Order Adrian Volk), political prisoners, prisoners families, and the United States government (including Assistant Secretary of State Herman Cohen, Senators and Congresspeople). It appears that South African Political Prisoners' Support Network moved to Pasadena, California. (Source: South African Political Prisoners' Support Network documents on this website.)
