The Willamette Coalition Against Apartheid was a student anti-apartheid organization at Willamette University was formed in September 1978. The Willamette Coalition Against Apartheid campaigned for divestment of the University’s South Africa linked stock. The Willamette Coalition Against Apartheid organized events such as plays, tech-ins, an ethnic dinner and hosted Dumisani Kumalo of the American Committee on Africa. The Willamette Coalition Against Apartheid also targeted United States National Bank of Oregon because of its loans to South Africa.
