The South Africa Committee was involved in a 1966 campaign for the withdrawal of accounts from Chase Manhattan Bank and First National City Bank because of their loans to South Africa. One of those involved was Morley Nkosi, South African student at New York University, who was a speaker at a rally following a picket at Chase Manhattan Bank.
