The main activity of the Steve Biko Memorial Committee was protesting the sale of the South African gold coin the Krugerrand. The Steve Biko Memorial Committee worked with the Boston Coalition for the Liberation of Southern Africa on a picket and demonstration at the National Association of Broadcasters meeting in Boston to protest the advertising of the Krugerrand.
