The Steve Biko Committee was a student organization at the University of Texas (UT) at Austin formed in 1983 that campaigned to get the University to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. In August 1985 the Steve Biko Committee led UT students, staff and faculty in a mock funeral. In April 1986 on several occasions people were arrested in anti-apartheid protests. It is not known when the organization ceased to operate.
