The State-Wide Anti-Apartheid Network (SWAAN) was a communication and support network for organizations and individuals seeking freedom and justice in South Africa and an end to racism everywhere in the state of Washington. About late 1986 it was renamed State-Wide Anti-Apartheid Networks of Washington, Idaho, Montana and Colorado. The SWAAN newsletter SWAAN Call was published for SWAAN by the Southern Africa Program of the American Friends Service Committee, Pacific Northwest regional office.
