Atlanta Southern Africa Support Committee

The Atlanta Southern Africa Support Committee was an anti-apartheid organization based mainly on six predominantly Black colleges centered around the Atlanta University Center. The organization also included important community based groups such as the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU), the Afro-American Justice League, and the All-African People's Revolutionary Party AARP. The Atlanta Southern Africa Support Committee supported the struggles in South Africa and Namibia. The Atlanta Southern Africa Support Committee organized tech-ins during the Weeks of Action from March 21 to April 4, 1982.
