Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (Danish Association for International Co-operation) works to fight poverty by helping the poor to fight for their rights and break the structures, which holds them back in hunger and poverty. As part of the international alliance ActionAid Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke works with human rights based development in more than 40 countries and reaches more than 25 million of the world's poor. Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke supported African struggles against colonialism and apartheid in Namibia and South Africa.
