The Kansas University Committee on South Africa (KUSA) consisted of students and faculty at the University of Kansas. KUSA campaigned to get the University of Kansas to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. KUSA did research on South Africa and its corporate ties to Kansas University, sponsored speakers and films, and held demonstrations. Starting on the April 1985 KUSA held a series of actions including an eight-day sit-in at the administration building, demonstrations and a three-week camp-in on the grounds of the KU Endowment Association.
