The Free South Africa Coalition campaigned to get the city of Milwaukee to divest the city pension fund from companies doing business in South Africa. The Free South Africa Coalition also campaigned in support of a state bill which called for the Wisconsin state pension fund to divest from companies doing business in South Africa. The Free South Africa Coalition promoted the passage of federal sanctions against South Africa legislation.
