The Divestiture Working Group (originally the Ad Hoc Divestiture Working Group) was an anti-apartheid organization at Northwestern University. The Ad Hoc Divestiture Working Group launched a campus-wide campaign to get Northwestern University to divest from companies that invest in South Africa, protested the murder of Steve Biko, and campaigned against the sale of the Krugerrand gold coin. In October 1978 the Ad Hoc Divestiture Working Group organized a Midwest conference on 'University and Corporate Involvement in South Africa' at Northwestern University.
