African Affairs Association

Duration: 1976 - Unknown
Location: Storrs, Connecticut, United States

The African Affairs Association was an organization at the University of Connecticut (UConn). Presumably it was mostly or exclusively a student organization. The African Affairs Association campaigned for divestment by UConn of stock of companies doing business in apartheid South Africa. The African Affairs Association also worked to end the sale of the Krugerrand gold in the greater Hartford area.
