The Africa Peace Committee organized annual public education campaign on war and militarism in Africa. The tours often included speakers from a number of organizations, including anti-apartheid organizations, and the African National Congress (ANC). The first tour was apparently in the spring of 1987. Nick Mottern of the Africa Peace Committee coordinated at least one of the tours.
