Sheets of these stamps were created for the Free South Africa / Promote Peace in the World Stamp Campaign, or “he BAFSAM Stamp Campaign.” (BAFSAM is Bay Area Free South Africa Movement.) The rectangular yellow stamp contains the image of a red ribbon, folder with a pin at the top, encircled with the words “Free South Africa” and “Peace” in light blue text. To the left of this circle, the main text appears in a red font with curled serifs on the first letters of some words. The order form for sheets of these stamps is on this website. Size of individual stamp: 1-5/8 x 1 inch.
