Translation: "South African Resistance in Pictures" Number 9 is a series of nine posters that accompanied the Spring 1988 fund raising and information campaign of Komitee Zuidelijk Afrika (KZA) and Anti-Apartheids Beweging Nederland (AABN) in support of organizations of the South African resistance. The series, produced by KZA, was offered to groups that could use them in their campaigning work within their own communities. The idea behind such national campaigns was never just to raise money: informing a broad public about apartheid and the resistance movement was considered as important. The theme of poster No. 9 is: ?Resistance?. Design: Christa Jesse. Printed by Meboprint, Amsterdam. This item was digitized by the International Institute of Social History in the Netherlands, which made it available to the African Activist Archive.
