Program of a reception honoring Oliver R. Tambo, President of the African National Congress, on January 22, 1987. The program lists patrons, donors and sponsors and members of Artists United Against Apartheid. At the reception, in cooperation with Artists United Against Apartheid, The Africa Fund will present President Tambo with a contribution of $100,000, a portion of artist royalties from the “Sun City” album which sold over one million copies worldwide. These funds will support ANC educational and cultural projects for South African refugees. Proceeds from the reception will also benefit ANC refugee projects.
