by U.S. Out of Angola Committee
Chicago, Illinois, United States
About December 1975 or January 1976
Spanish version of a brochure advertising a meeting and demonstration on February 6-7, 1976. Invited guests include Elisio de Figueiredo, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Angola to the United Nations; Representatives Ralph Metcalfe and Cardiss Collins; Ben Magubane, a South African Professor of Anthropology; and representatives of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists and El Grupo Latino. The brochure says hundreds of thousands of Americans wait for health, welfare, and unemployment benefits and more and more young people are deprived of educational programs while the U.S. government spends hundreds of millions of dollars on a war in Angola. [An English version of the brochure also is available on this website.]
