Leaflet against Continental Bank’s loans to South Africa and its sale of the Krugerrand gold coins. The leaflet says Krugerrands account for 30% of South Africa’s gold production, and the U.S. accounts for half of Krugerrand sales worldwide. The leaflet urges people to withdraw their account and to protest the sale of Krugerrands. The leaflet also notes that Continental finances U.S. corporate investments in South Africa by companies such as Motorola, Kodak, IBM, GM, Ford, Chrysler, Mobil, Caltex, Exxon, John Deere, FMC, and International Harvester. • HOW? Despite press reports, Continental still lends in South Africa • What Your Money Does for Racism • How There Bank Loans Affect You [Note: This leaflet may have been given out at a demonstration at Continental Bank.]
