Continental & First National Sell APARTHEID
by Chicago Coalition on Southern Africa
Chicago, Illinois, United States
Undated, about April 1977
The leaflet says Continental and First National Banks are supporting racism in South Africa by using your money to make loans to that government and/or finance U.S. corporations there. They also raise funds for the government by selling South African gold coins known as Krugerrands in Chicago. The leaflet advertises two demonstrations, one at First National on April 15 and one against Continental on April 25. The leaflet says write or call to protest loans to South Africa and sale of the Krugerrand.
