The leaflet/mailing notes that at Newport Beach Tennis Club, outside Los Angeles, a team from the racist Tennis Association of South Africa is due to play against the United States team in a Davis Cup Tennis match. The notorious apartheid policy of South Africa is applied in all spheres, including sport. The leaflet notes that the South African racists have been expelled from all the major sports organizations of the world because of their racist policies. The significant exception is Tennis. The leaflet says a letter of appeal has already been sent to President Jimmy Carter by SAN-ROC. SAN-ROC asks that all supporters of our fight against racism send messages to the White House, and to their Representatives in Congress.
