The mailing seeks to raise $187 to pay tuition expenses for Mburumba Kerina, the first student to leave the restricted area of South-West Africa to complete his education for a PHD in New York at the New School for Social Research. Kerina has been one of the most impressive witnesses at the United Nations on conditions in his native land, and he intends to return there whatever the risks of prosecution for his actions. He is spending his earnings to support his wife and baby and needs support for his tuition. The American Committee on Africa is seeking 20 people to each donate $10.
