This pamphlet, created to distribute at a forum, discusses the Unity in Action coalition, which aims to provide support for African freedom fighters such as the African National Congress (A.N.C.) and the South-West Africa People's Organization (S.W.A.P.O.). It argues that residents of the United States have a special responsibility to effectively oppose U.S. government and corporate support for apartheid South Africa. It also discusses the celebrity accorded to Black artists and athletes and the consequent importance of their participating in anti-apartheid actions. It explains the boycott campaign against artists and athletes who perform in South Africa. It also expresses Unity of Action’s support for the Congolese National Liberation Front (F.L.N.C.) and its concern about U.S. support for the Mobutu regime in Zaire.
