Leaflet advertising a conference on South Africa's regional aggression on January 29-31, 1987 at Shiloh Baptist Church. The conference is sponsored by the Washington Office on Africa Educational Fund (WOAEF), with The Coalition for a New Foreign Policy, WPFW Radio Station 89.3 FM, and The National Public Radio Satellite Fund; it is supported by the Howard University Student Association. The Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Symposium on Southern Africa, a project of the WOAEF, will be held each January in conjunction with Martin Luther King's birthday to educate the general public, Congress, and the media. There will be panels on: The Effects on South Africa's Regional Destabilization on (A) Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland and (B) Angola and Mozambique; Namibia; Destabilization: A View from the National Liberation Movements and SADCC (Southern African Development Coordination Conference); Regional Efforts to End Apartheid Hegemony; and Action Against Apartheid's Aggression - Strategies for the U.S Movement. Symposium excerpts will be broadcast via satellite in cooperation with WPFW and the National Public Radio Satellite Fund.
