The leaflet advertises a demonstration at the San African Airways (SAA) office in San Francisco on January 14. South African Airways promotes tourism to support the South African economy, and it ferries troops to the battlefront in Namibia. In Azania, the African name for South Africa, Black people are in the midst of the most militant uprising since Soweto in 1976. Protesters are being arrested and killed for striking, demonstrating, and even speaking out against white supremacy. In the U.S., from the steps of the South African Embassy in Washington, D.C. to the docks of San Francisco, a movement is growing to cut all ties to South Africa and support the liberation struggle. Support is needed for people who occupied South African Airways on December 6; they will be in court at 9 a.m. on January 14. This leaflet was digitized by The Freedom Archives, which provided it to the African Activist Archive Project.
