Announcement and program of a public forum and conference on "Liberation Struggles in Southern Africa" sponsored by the Patrice Lumumba Coalition on October 29-30 at the Church of the Advocate. Speakers at the PUBLIC FORUM include Father Paul Washington, Pastor; Rev. Muhammad Kenyatta; Tapson Maware, Zimbabwe People’s Army (ZIPA) [affiliated with the Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU)], Theo-Ben Gurirab, South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO); David Sibeko, Pan African Congress (PAC); Thami Mhlambiso, African National Congress (ANC), and Irving Davis, Patrice Lumumba Coalition (PLC). The October 30 conference Plenary Session will be an address "Tasks of Pan African Patriotism" by Elombe Brath, PLC. Conference workshops include: History of southern Africa struggles; USA involvement with racism regimes; Community education, action and lobbying; Material support campaigns; and Mass media and the African image. There will be a Special Address by The Honorable Dramane Ouattara, Ambassador for the Organization of African Unity (OAU) to the United Nations Organization.
