The minutes says it was agreed to ask Elsie Carrington, Immanuel Wallerstein and Robert H. Clampitt if they wish to continue on the executive committee, noting the need for people to attend. George Shepherd will switch from the executive committee to the national committee. No action was taken on the problem of adding a Negro member of the staff. The minutes mention Mrs. Ralph Bunche, Dr. Gardner Taylor, Rev. Thomas Kilgore, Jr., Cleveland Robinson, Dr. George Cannon, Mrs. Lillian Sharp Hunter, Miss Lorraine Hansberry, Rev. Milton Galamison, Jimmy Dumpson, Dr. John Morsel, Stanley Levison, Bayard Rustin the executive board, Donald Harrington, Peter Weiss, Elizabeth Landis, Homer Jack, and Adelaide Schulkind.
